Happy NovemBREE!

Hey, Lovely Reader,

It’s officially NovemBREE and that means it’s Bree’s Birthday! TODAY! I’ve never shared this before, but November 1st is Bree’s actual, canon birthday. There are lots of goodies coming this November to celebrate, but for now, here’s a short list of the gifts Bree might have received from her friends for her birthday:

Alice: A gift card to a local bookstore, obviously, but also tickets to the Eras tour. (Alice is a Swiftie, for sure.)

Dad: Something extraordinarily sensible, like a new winter coat. He doesn’t understand when Bree says she loves it “because it’ll be easy to clean after a battle.” What battle? What is “demon ichor” anyway?!

Nick: A handmade leather scabbard engraved with her initials, because Bree leaves Excalibur lying around everywhere and keeps mumbling “where do scabbards even come from?” Late night sword training sessions in the Lodge basement.

Sel: In public, a handwritten coupon book for five Twilight-esque piggyback rides provided “without complaint.” In private, a rose made of aether enchanted to last a full day.

Mariah: A gift card for a spa day, for ::gestures widely:: all the reasons. “Girl, you need it.”

Greer: New training gear because Bree’s never had any of her own.

William: A date to a local teahouse with treats included.
